The Arc, Oneida-Lewis Chapter offers a variety of group day habilitation programs, including WOW (Without Walls) options throughout Oneida and Lewis counties. While each program operates under the same guidelines and regulations, each is unique in the focus of the service provided. Our day habilitation programs aim to help people with developmental disabilities realize their full potential.
Who is eligible for these services?
Arc Day Programs are for adults enrolled in the Medicaid Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) waiver.
All our day programs provide a level of community integration but vary in size and concentration, including volunteer opportunities or skill development and enhancement.
Trained staff provides the services and support while including the people we support in shaping the daily activities per their preferences and desires.
Some everyday activities in these programs include developing personal hygiene skills, socialization skills, mobility training, daily living, life skills, and recreational opportunities.
